Hi everyone Suzanne here
This blog post is a canvas about me and this is very rare as I never do anything about me
But recently I had my hair done (I had mesh integration done) I know having your hair done doesn’t sound like much but this is a big process and its made me feel like a different person maybe like my younger confident self again I’m not sure anyway this is not a diary post hahaha This is about my canvas I created
Also make sure to check out our blog for the other designers awesome work for great inspiration and the Helmar Website for all your glue needs
I used Super TAC Glue and 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for my project
I Started by adding some texture paste through a stencil around the top edges and the back of the canvas
Then painted it yellow but it was way too bright so painted it white to tone it down a lot
I added lots of cardboard to the back of my photo which I matted on some patterned paper and tied some ribbon across it
I then glued down some gauze before adding some wired ribbon which I folded then placed it a crossed the middle
I glued a paperclay border across the edge of the canvas which I had painted pink and rubbed over it with gold wax
I then glued down the flowers and little embellishments
Including the tiny bow in my hair
I added someSuper TAC Glue to some glass beads and placed them randomly around the canvas
Added a couple of ribbons and a buzzy bee using my favourite glue the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive
And to finish off I added some quotes I thought suited my mood
Thank you for visiting I hope you come back soon xx
Thank you so much
I really do feel like a new version of me lol xx
