Cathy Derouche
Hi, my name is Catherine, and I live in the great state of Maine, nestled in the beautiful western foothills. I am a married woman of 35 years to a wonderful husband with four grown sons and 6 wonderful grandchildren. I am a paper crafter and have been for 5 short years, although I have been a crafter most of my life. I love trying everything crafty at least once. I have crocheted, knitted, crafted with felt, wood, scrap pages, painting, embroidery and many, many more crafts. I think of all the creating I have done over the years, paper crafting is my favorite. I have made mini albums, tags, gift bags, boxes, cards, scrap pages, paper piecings, tear bear piecings, and shadow box frames. My husband has primary progressive M.S. and is wheelchair bound and needs care at home so I am retired to care for him and in my down time when I am not babysitting grandchildren crafting is my number one thing to do to relax.

Susan Hamilton
Hi I'm Sue from Victoria. I've been scrapbooking for nine years now. Since our youngest son, Harry was a baby. It started with baby books and then I visited my first scrapbooking store and I was hooked, it's my time out and truly soothes my soul. My husband Rob and our three children, Callum who is twenty one, Daisy who is eighteen and young Harry are the people I scrapbook the most. I also scrapbook extended family and friends, everyday moments, milestones and just for fun. My style is playful, I love ephemera and texture. I love trying anything new. From time to time I like to do off the page projects and art journaling too. I’m so excited to be a part of the Helmar creative team and I’m really looking forward to starting my first project.

Jean Marmo
HI! My name is Jean and I live just outside of Grand Rapids, MI. I have a twin sister and for the majority of our lives, I was the math and science one. I stayed far away from anything that involved art or being creative. Once I had children, I started scrapbooking. This was back in the days of colored cardstock and deco scissors. Two things last year brought me to where I am today. I unexpectedly lost my job and my second child was married. With both children grown and out of the house, there was only so much I could scrap. And yet, I had a room full of paper, stamps, ribbons etc. Last year I took an art class and am now using those supplies along with paints and pastes to create mixed media canvases, mini albums, and frames. Most days you will find me experimenting and learning and I look forward to having you join me on this journey. I am excited to be showcasing Helmar products!

Martha Lucia Gomez
Martha Lucia Gomez. I was born in Colombia, but I live in Miami, USA. My first language is Spanish, which is why my blog is written in Spanish; but don’t worry, I have a translate button. I studied Social Communications and Journalism, but I've loved crafts forever. I used to work with metal jewelry, but one day I discovered stamps, ink and paper, and now it is my passion. I've realized that working with paper crafts is the best therapy. I live with my husband and our two daughters. I divide my time between my family, my work in a Public Relations Company and my passions: my blog and crafting on various design teams. I love to create cards, 3D's and alter different projects because I love to learn new techniques. I look forward to working on this Design Team and sharing my passion with all of you.

I do a little bit of everything (smile), although my concentration as of lately has been towards, mixed media, art journaling. I am a practicing social media junky.. if there is an app. out there.. I've heard of it.. possibly used it or have had an account for it. I believe #sharingiscaring and some folks get the best learning experiences from some of the things. One can easily become an educated consumer with few inquisitive search clicks from pinterest, facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr and bloglovin.

Krisy Podolak
G’day! So Cliché I know. LOL. My name is Krisy and I am from sunny Queensland, Australia. I am a full time stay at home mum to three, Poppy 3, Leo 2 and Autumn 1. I have always been creative but decided to really focus on sharing what I create the year my youngest daughter was born. I set myself some creative goals and the next thing on my list was an International Design Team. So here I am. My first art love is Scrapbooking. I love documenting memories but not in your traditional scrapbooking way. Scrapbooking for me is about being able to incorporate art into the process. I didn’t really discover my true style until I realised you can really do what your heart desires. There are really no rules you have to follow. I create under the name Popleopod and I am all about Art Meeting Memories. I have a very eclectic style and approach to my art so I will try anything that tickles my fancy. I keep journals of idea sketches that are just waiting to be created. So expect a range of different projects from me.

Veronica Johnson
Hi, my name is Veronica alias “Kitsnbitscraps”. I have been doing crafts since I can remember, my mom taught my sisters and I to knit, sew, cross stitch, embroidery and I was always coloring and sketching. I was raised in Southern California in a little town by the beach called Hermosa – then I was transferred to South Florida. I was introduced to scrapbooking by my new co-workers in Florida and that was 12 years ago. I have kept busy by teaching scrap book and stamping classes at scrapbook stores and conventions and love every minute of it. From the first time I walked into a scrapbook store I was hooked! I am definitely addicted to paper. I have a passion for creating and sharing my love of crafting, whether it’s cards, layouts, albums, altered and mixed media; I love doing it all. I also enjoy bringing new tidbits and techniques to inspire as many crafters as I can through color. If I had to name my style I would say “Shabby Whimsy” because I always start projects with lots of color then depending on my mood I will shabby it down with browns, texture and layers.
