In no specific order please give a big welcome to our new Helmar Design Team!
I started scrapbooking in 2001 after the birth of my first born and became quickly hooked. Right now you can find me near St Louis with two boys, a Marine, a cat named Pablo and two dogs! From there my passion went to hybrid and digital scrapbooking and designing. I think my style varies from one medium to the next but I try and find balance in every project that I create ;) I've had many ventures from designing products for Dream Street Papers, Pink Paislee, MiDesign@Michaels, PageFrames, Coolihah App, TapNScrap App and Magistical Memories to being on digital/hybrid and paper design teams.

Tracey Sabella
Hello, I’m Tracey and reside in northeast Ohio with my amazing husband, Gary. Our family and faith have always been an important part of our lives. We have been blessed with four wonderful children, and with two weddings in as many years, our family is growing. I'm a shabby chic mixed media artist and enjoy the creative outlet of paper crafting. I’ve been creating and crafting for as long as I can remember and use many of those skills on my projects. I adore learning new techniques along the way and enjoy sharing my projects along with tips and techniques on my blog. I also design for Donna Salazar Designs, Once Upon A…Sketch and Leaky Shed Studio. I’m a huge fan of Helmar products and am so excited and honored to be a part of the Helmar team!

Sandee Setliff
Since childhood, I am happiest when I have paint and glue on my hands! Playing with new products and getting messy is time well spent in my book. I create a variety of mix media signs, cards, and altered art, and my creative style ranges from cute and fun to clean and simple which I sell in a local gallery called the Art MoB. My latest passion is art journaling, lettering, typography and collecting quotes. My grandest achievement so far, has been my being commissioned to paint a huge fiber glass bear which will be auctioned off for charity in the end of the 2014 summer. When I am not crafting I am photographing wildlife and hiking through our lovely North Carolina mountains. I am 55 years old, single and deliriously happy checking off my bucket list as I go along in life. -

Katie Smith
Hi I’m Katie, I am an artist currently living in Dallas. I doodle on everything I can get my hands on and love everything crafty such as scrapbooking, mixed media, drawing, sewing, crocheting, etc, but my favourite projects are always the paper and mixed media projects. One of the most crucial tools used in crafting is of course adhesive and I use a lot of it, so i am thrilled to be on the Helmar design team. I have a blog Punk Projects, where I post tutorials, inspiration and other fun things as well as designing custom shoes in my etsy shop. When I’m not crafting, you can usually find me cycling, camping or working in the garden.

Hello, my name is Nicole. I live in northern UT with my three boys: husband Brandon and our two boys Wesley (11) and Thomas (2). Yep, you read that right my boys are nine years apart in age. It has its challenges at times, but it's so much fun to have another little person running around here. I work part time in the mornings as a cake decorator and the rest of the day I'm the regular SAHM. I found scrapbooking when my oldest son was about 7 months old and have been addicted since. I never ever imagined I would be a scrapbooker, but here I am combining my love of color, design, photos, and memories into one love. I've been doing design work in the scrapbook industry for about nine years. I've worked for several scrapbook manufacturers, monthly kit clubs, and have been published in quite a few major scrapbook magazines.

Monica Edwards
My name is Monica Edwards and I am the mother of 2 older children and I currently work at the Kennedy Space Center and I love it! I have been crafting over 20 years but stepped into the blog world in the past 3 years. I consider my style to be well not sure because I love it all. Some days I am vintage, whimsy, fun and bright just depends on the mood I am in. My goal is to inspire others through my work and I would like to say your projects are only as good as the adhesive behind it!

Good morning! Kate here today, sharing with you some pretty layouts made with Pink Paislee products and Helmar glues. I think that any time of year is perfect for pretty layouts filled with pink, love and hearts. Don't you?
"Discover True Beauty" is a layout showcasing a photo of my daughter, Lily, before her dance recital last year. Playing on the pink in her hip-hop costume, I used lots of papers from Pink Paislee's "Secret Crush" line. The papers are happily layered with Helmar Premium Craft Glue.
You can see in the inset photo how I added Helmar ZapDots to give a little height to my paper banner and arrow. I like how it gives the illusion of the title moving up off the page.
I created "My Love" in last week's Helmar Live Ustream Class. I'll include the video at the bottom of this post so you can see how I created the layout using Helmar, Pink Paislee and Pan Pastel products.
Again, I used Helmar Premium Craft Glue for all my paper, Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to attach the pink ruffled trim, and Helmar ZapDots to give lift to my matted background and photo.
I really enjoyed creating with these Pink Paislee products. They are definitely a perfect match for almost any Helmar glue!
Helmar Supplies: Premium Craft Glue, 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, ZapDots
Pink Paislee Supplies: Secret Crush Collection, Artisian Collection
Other Supplies: Quick Quotes Powder Puff Chalking Ink, Pan Pastels, FabScraps Gems
If you missed my last Helmar Live Ustream Class featuring the "My Love" layout, be to check it out below...
You will want to check back every day this week for more awesome projects by the Helmar Design Team as they partner Helmar glues with more Pink Paislee goodness. Thank you for joining me today!

This past Thursday I was on UStream with Prima Live and demoed how to make this mixed media journal cover. I used lots of Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive on the layers. Here is a photo of the cover and some detail shots.
Not only is there a lot of layers but I added mediums like Light Modeling Paste, Faber-Castell Gelatos, and many layers! The Helmar 450 adhesive is the BEST! All those metal gears are heavy and that glue holds them on tight! It's good for the wood, metal, fabric, and paper embellishments! All purpose is right! If you want to see the recorded UStream with my demo and silly conversation, check it out here.

If you watched our UStream presentation last night, you saw me go through the steps for this holiday gift tin and gift! If you missed it, you can see it again here. I will just share some of the close up images for this project. I love these little tins and was lucky to find some at my LSS that someone collected. They are empty cigar tins from the Dominican. I bet Altoid tins or other metal container would work just as well!
Here is the tin opened and you can see that I covered the lid and base with paper. A corner rounder was perfect to help them fit nicely inside. I used Helmar's Decoupage glue and paste to apply the paper.
Here's a detail of the embellishments which are all Prima products except the ribbon which is Snug Hug seam binding. That stuff is awesome for any project!
The papers are perfect for any occasion but I love the pinks, reds, greens and teal colors for Christmas too!
Emboss the edges of the metal tin to hide the printed sides and create some texture. I used Helmar's Crackle Step 1 for the adhesive for the embossing powder. WOW embossing powders are awesome with many materials!
Surprise!! Here is the little gift inside the tin. I created a handmade necklace with paper, a clear facet, rub on, bling, and chain. I added embossing powder on the back for a similar look to the outside of the tin.
I hope you enjoyed this project and find different uses for the adhesives because they are so versatile!

Hi Everyone,
Today I want to share with you how I create a smash book page using Helmar Premium Craft Glue. I know, I know, the smash book comes with a nifty little pen with a glue top, but do you think I use that?! Nope, I let the kids have that as soon as I unwrap my smashbook because kids love a glue stick for their school work. For something I'm making that I want to last for a long time, I'm going to turn to my trusty, tried and true, Helmar Premium Craft Glue.
Let me share a couple pages with you first:
And yesterday for our Helmar Live broadcast, I recorded how a smash page comes together for me using Helmar Premium Craft Glue & Helmar Zap Dots. You can view it here:
Video streaming by UstreamAnd the finished page:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Remember to join us every Tuesday night at 7p ET for a LIVE broadcast with one of Educators for incredible inspiration and how to's.

Due to the overwhelming amount of talent who applied to the Helmar Education team, we, at Helmar, have decided that we cannot make this decision within one week as anticipated. Hey, we are learning! Since this is a new venture, we at Helmar want to ensure that we make the best fits for our team at this time. We know the delay and wait is the hardest part. Please accept our apology for the delay and understand that the applications are being thoroughly reviewed as we get lost in the wonderful creations and read over the information. We will now be announcing the new team as soon as possible. All applicants were notified of the delay and we truly appreciate everyone that took the time to send in their application and their patience as we sort through these.
In the meantime, do you realize that we have LIVE Ustream classes every Tuesday night at 7 PM EST? We have a different educator on each week sharing projects from cards, layouts, altered art, home décor and more all using a variety of Helmar products. If you can’t make it to join us for a LIVE Ustream, you can always go back and watch the recorded episodes. Last week, Katie make a collection of Fall cards. I personally loved the ghost the best. You can watch that here below.
And last night, I was up and we created a spooky wreath and added a mixed media canvas to it to create a great Halloween Wreath for my front door. You can watch that episode below. When I hang it on my front door, I will take another picture and share it on the Helmar Facebook page. We had a great time making it.
And that is just a sampling of what we create. You can find all our recorded videos at Helmar Live Ustream. Don’t forget to mark your calendars now and join us every Tuesday night. We list these in our Events Tab on Helmar’s Facebook Page, so if you are not a fan, what are you waiting for? Hop on over and see what we are up to. It’s also a great place to share your Helmar projects with us too. And, if you are looking for a place to buy Helmar so that you can play along with us on Tuesday nights, or just to make your own projects, make sure you stop by our websites.
